London Food FX were honoured to be asked to make a signature film for Pizza Hut’s ARTISAN CRUST PIZZA.
The ACP is all about a unique customer experience with handcrafted dough EVERY time.
We concentrated on the making experience to highlight the craft behind this incredibly thin pizza. Capturing its unique properties and those oh-so-special foodie moments was key to expressing its artisan nature.
In the fast-food world Pizza Hut operates in, there is a constant demand for new product innovation. And in China that demand has a HUGE population. Yum Foods were pleased to import London Food FX’s advertising food director Gus Filgate, to their Shanghai operation to capture JUST how they do it!

With such a huge target audience in China, Brands like Pizza Hut are keen to develop new products and put our a constant stream of advertising content. At the time of filming their output was more than one commercial per week. This particular sequence was commissioned to cut through the noise of all their regular output with a genuinely hand made, artisan product.
