This project came to us with an ambition to express the craftsmanship behind a McVitie’s biscuit; for an emerging confectionary market in the Middle East.
The food sequences had to express 180 years of real McVitie’s care and commitment to wholesome baking; focussing on craft, expertise, tradition and history.
We think there is a special delight in telling a story that is all about tradition by ONLY using TRADITIONAL filming techniques. GO HOME CG, GO HOME VFX, lets do it in-camera!
Filming chocolate requires its own very special skills set. In this sequence London Food FX worked with specialist model makers so we could exercise the level of control required for PERFECT chocolate moments.
