Let it flow let it flow let it flow

Christmas comes early with the gravy-licous KFC Gravy Burger

How to perfect a never-ending stream of gravy that is visually engaging and most importantly divinely delicious.

‘Say when!’ was the idea behind this brilliant spot; where the never ending stream of gravy keeps pouring and pouring…..

KFC chose to launch the KFC XMAS GRAVY BURGER in the safe hands of Gus Filgate.

The spot had to be dramatically but beautifully lit, the burger had to be food porn on steroids and the gravy had to be technically non stop!

The result was big, bold and beautiful and gravy has never looked so mouth watering.

First and foremost the KFC Gravy Burger spot and to be fun and simple and ALL about the never ending gravy flow so that we nailed the gag; ‘say when!’

OTT images were used to make the gag become visually alive, so as the burger is revealed and the gravy coats everything in its path, in glorious close up you realise that you don’t want the gravy to stop.

Christmas Gravy Burger

Christmas comes early as Gus creates a non stop flow of heavenly gravy.

Gus Filgate being all rig obsessed used a probe lens to create an unusual POV of the gravy with a rig that delivered the gravy in a smooth continuous pour so that he could film the gravy in dramatic real time as it cascaded nonstop; pretty much what Christmas is all about.

With stunning cinematography and an inventive, clever approach to filming food, freelance food director Gus Filgate shoots top advertising campaigns in London, across Europe and around the world.
