Coop Feel the heat

Meet the parents turns into a fiery face off

You can’t beat curry night at home with the folks but throw in chilli and humour and you have a lovely film from Gus Filgate.

A food film that incorporates comedy is a hard script to deliver but Gus Filgate took another charming script for Coop and turned it into a funny and engaging film.

The performance is utterly delightful and relatable, as a ‘meet the parents’ meal  becomes a competition between dad and the daughter’s bold boyfriend.

Gus worked his supreme skills to keep the food performing too; chills rain down as the actors face off and naan bread mops up korma as the competition literally heats up; its both mouth-watering and comedic. Expertly delivered by Gus.

“Its hard to imagine a food project that wouldn’t be enhanced by this level of craft , expertise and sheer unadulterated love for its subject.” David Reviews

“The attention to detail is quite breathtaking, with the short film aptly demonstrating the rich culinary traditions of our ancestors and predecessors.” Hexapolis magazine
