Julius Caesar’s last Supper
A not-so-serious imagining.
A not-so-serious imagining.
A little while back, just for fun, we thought we might re-imagine the last meals taken by various historical figures. Here is one, featuring Julius Caesar’s last supper.
A few moments after this meal Caesar was brutally murdered by his own senate. It was a vicious and dramatic act committed by otherwise mild thinking-men. So we set out to make a film of quick cuts and slashing edits!
As always, all images are captured in-camera. No artificial intelligence. No Computer Graphics. No nerds. Just a camera and some spells!

“The attention to detail is quite breathtaking, with the short film aptly demonstrating the rich culinary traditions of our ancestors and predecessors.” Hexapolis magazine
You cannot have more fun filming food than playing with underwater photography, or animating the food frame by frame until it comes alive for the camera, or getting beans to throw up there tops like a graduation at university.
Anyone interested in making a TV ad with this sort of energy?
We’d love to hear your ideas. We’d love to bring them to life!
